Indian-origin woman Athira Preetha Rani picked by NASA for space programme training.

 

After Kalpana Chawala and Sunita Williams, Rani is set to become the third Indian astronaut to fly in space.

 

In association with Canada's space agency, NASA offers the International Institute of Astronautical Science's astronaut training programme.
